Terms of Service
These Terms set the rules for using TweetCam — the matching, video and voice calls, text chat, and coin purchases that make up the service. Using TweetCam means you have read, understood, and agreed to them, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
1. Accepting these terms
By opening TweetCam and starting a video call, you accept these Terms and any feature-specific rules or notices that apply. If we update the Terms and you keep using the service afterward, that continued use counts as accepting the updated version. If you no longer agree, stop using the platform.
2. Who can use TweetCam
TweetCam is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, or under the minimum age that applies where you live. You may only use it if the law permits you to.
You're responsible for keeping any account details accurate and for protecting your login credentials. In particular:
- Don't sign up using false, misleading, or stolen information.
- Don't sell, rent, transfer, or share your account.
- Don't try to get around security checks, rate limits, or access controls.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gotten into your account.
3. What the service does
TweetCam is a real-time video chat platform. The core is simple: random 1-on-1 matching that pairs you with a stranger who is online, a private video and voice call for the two of you, a text chat for that same room, and the ability to browse who's online before you match. Coins are an optional add-on for longer sessions and a few premium features.
We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time for legal, operational, security, or product reasons. We don't promise any specific feature will stay available forever or run without interruption.
4. Acceptable use
Use TweetCam lawfully, responsibly, and with respect for the people you meet. You may not use it to harass, exploit, deceive, or harm others, or to disrupt how the platform runs. Specifically:
- No unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or misleading behavior or content.
- No sexual content involving minors, exploitation, violent threats, or hate speech.
- No impersonating someone else or lying about who you are to mislead people.
- No bots, scripts, scraping, reverse engineering, or other abusive technical tricks.
- No scams, off-platform payment schemes, or spam.
Our Community Guidelines add more detail. Violations can lead to restrictions or account termination.
5. Matching, calls, and chat
The platform includes random matching, one-to-one video and voice calls, and a text chat. These exist to help you meet and talk to strangers. When you use them, act lawfully and respectfully — don't stalk, threaten, extort, harass, scam, share malicious links, or pressure anyone into unsafe or prohibited conduct. Matching results, response rates, and who you meet depend on who's online and are not guaranteed.
6. Coins and payments
TweetCam is free to start. Coins are an optional prepaid balance used for longer sessions and certain premium features; they are a consumable digital item. When you buy coins, you authorize the charge through our payment processor. How refunds work — and when they don't apply — is covered in our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The TweetCam name, design, and software are ours or our licensors', and using the service doesn't transfer any of those rights to you. Don't copy, modify, or redistribute parts of the platform without permission.
8. Enforcement
If you break these Terms or our Guidelines, we may remove content, limit features, suspend, or permanently terminate your account, depending on the severity. Serious or repeated abuse can be actioned without prior notice.
9. Disclaimers and liability
TweetCam is provided "as is." We can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that every person you meet will behave well. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. You are responsible for how you interact with the strangers you meet.
