Community Guidelines
These guidelines exist to keep TweetCam a friendly, safe place to meet strangers on a 1-on-1 video call. Please read them and stick to them every time you match. Breaking them can cost you access to features, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban, depending on how serious the behavior is.
The basics we ask of everyone
Treat people with respect. Everyone you match with is a real person. Insults, discrimination, and attacks on any individual or group have no place here.
Respect privacy. Don't dig for, record, or pass around someone else's personal details without their consent — yours or theirs.
Keep it appropriate. Sexual, violent, graphic, or otherwise disturbing behavior on camera or in chat is not allowed. TweetCam is a place to talk, not to shock people.
Follow the law. Whatever you do on TweetCam has to stay within the laws that apply to you, and rules protecting minors matter most of all.
No scams or spam. Fake promotions, fraud, misleading pitches, and off-platform money schemes are off-limits.
Speak up. If you run into a violation, report it right away and we'll look into it.
What is not allowed on cam or in chat
To keep the experience good for everyone, don't bring any of the following into a video call, a voice call, or the text chat:
- Nudity, sexual acts, or sexual behavior aimed at another person
- Anything involving or sexualizing a minor — this is a hard, zero-tolerance line
- Harassment, threats, stalking, or hate speech targeting anyone
- Graphic violence, gore, or content meant to disturb or scare
- Promotion of drugs, weapons, self-harm, or other dangerous activity
- Impersonating someone else or lying about who you are to deceive people
- Advertising, spam, links to other apps, or attempts to pull the chat off-platform
- Sharing another person's private information without their permission
- Discriminatory, racist, or demeaning remarks of any kind
Protecting minors
TweetCam is intended for adults. Accounts belonging to minors, and any behavior or content that involves or sexualizes a minor, are strictly prohibited and removed. Where the law requires it, we cooperate with the authorities. If you believe a minor is on the platform, report it immediately.
What happens when the rules are broken
We take violations seriously and match the response to the offense. Depending on how severe or repeated it is, that can mean:
- A warning for a first or minor slip.
- A temporary suspension for repeated or more serious behavior.
- A permanent ban for severe abuse or ongoing violations — and serious cases are removed without warning.
We reserve the right to decide the right action based on what actually happened.
